  11. Bye Bye

It would be kind of poetic justice if this ignorant douche gets gang-raped while in prison. Hope he rots.

Have you ever heard a caged bird sing. Theres a time and a place for everything. And do you believe in the joy it brings. When your eyes are open and you can see everything that surrounds you. Separating friends from foes taking dangerous blows, learning from life as you grow. Do you believe me. And however rough it may seem, it is not a far fetched dream and I know dreadloc will be coming in. And however rough it may seem, it is not a far fetched dream and I know blessings will be flowing like a stream….

Keep your head Buju: The voice of my youth

Why do all these news stories link his alleged “anti-gay” lyrics with his current legal situation? It reeks of a setup to me, if not in real time then at least in the press, who are hell-bent on destroying another prolific reggae artist.

Can’t you see there are far worse biggots in the world…namely, ones with money and power? (read: conservative Republican Christians who control not only the media, but also most of what goes on in Washington).

Anyone with an ounce of insight can see that a single reggae artist is not at the root of the gay community’s problems. Should he be held accountable for his lyrics? Absolutely, but the excessive scapegoating of one person who has absolutely NO political influence on the laws and policies affecting gay people is a bit much. Your time would be better spent elsewhere.

  14. sku

fuck gays and their double standards anyways. as a religious person,(which im not, but he is) homosexuality defies the natural law. bottom line. and he has as much right to say” i hate fags ” as the fags do to bitch about it and be fags in the first place. the best part is how butthurt everyone gets over stupid shit thats really inconsequential to their own lives. and if he wanted a bang of coke, so fucking what? so do i.

  15. sku

p.s…..people should really stop molding their lives around a genre of music… i listen to reggae 24-7, but that doesn’t make me a rasta- just a fuckin awesome bassist.

  16. Raphael Riz

Wagwan Buju, i n i prayin for your freedom in Kenya. Nuff respect

  17. mixey

THE MUSICS GOOD FUCK THE GAYS .PITY YOUR A HIPOCRITE COKE HEAD

  18. TAMAR

BUJU KEEP UR HEAD UP…GOD IS WATCHING OVER U!!!! AND FOR ALL THE HATERS SHUT UP!!!

  19. Zafar

I am in no position to judge this man. So what I will say is this; If he is innocent pray he be freed, but if he is guilty then I hope he get what he deserve

  20. gargamel

Leave the rasta man alone. when a man decides to sell a product on a willing buyer willing seller basis they should not be prejudiced for their hustle. Buju did not hurt anyone who didn’t want to get hurt. Babylon system is taking over freedom. let there be freedom of choice.

  21. gargamel

the only fucked up thing about buju is that he encourages violence against gay people. that goes against the idea of freedom of speach. speak freely but not at the detrement of another persons freedom, peace, right to live, choose and pursue that which makes them happy.

  22. xingo

I hope you are innocent buju; i admire your conscious music. I grew up listening to your music.

  23. mslika love

I love your music they can’t keep a good man down free world free spech

  24. malika love

I will always love your music
